Ken and Marlene Childress began singing with their children, Teresa, Carla and Shannon, almost 40 years ago. Ken had been singing with a quartet called The Golden Keys. But when he and Marlene discovered that their children were blessed with the ability to sing harmony and play instruments at a young age, they decided to form The Childress Family. Teresa played the piano and a short time later, Carla picked up the bass guitar and began to play. Their son, Shannon, was a high tenor singer until about age 13, when his voice went to the other end of the spectrum and he sang low bass.

Marlene has been blessed with the ability to write some wonderful songs that have been recorded by numerous artists in the gospel music industry. She and son, Shannon, wrote "From Disgrace to His Grace" which was recorded by The Hoppers and was nominated as Song of the Year at the Singing News Fan Awards in 1994.

Music has always been a major part of Eric Horner's life. Born and raised in Paducah KY, he grew up with a guitar in his hands playing and singing Gospel music all over Western KY, Southern IL and Southeast MO. Eric’s first big musical influence was a young man by the name of Steven Curtis Chapman. The two met when Steven became Eric’s first guitar teacher in the 6th grade. Learning the “Chapman Method” of guitar playing prepared Eric well for what the Lord had in store down the road.

Eric moved to Nashville TN at the age of 19 to pursue his dream of becoming a professional songwriter and musician. It didn't take long for the doors to open and over the next 17 years Eric toured the world playing with such artists as Lee Greenwood, Shania Twain, Wynonna Judd, and Brad Paisley. In 2002, all of that changed. Eric began to feel a call on his life to return to his Gospel music roots and to use his talents for a higher purpose.

He surrendered to full time music ministry in the Fall of 2002 and hasn't looked back since. Eric and his wife Debby spend well over 250 days a year on the road ministering in churches and military bases all across America. God has given them the unique opportunity to encourage and minister to the newest members of our military as they go through basic training. To date Eric has been put in front of over 300,000 of them.

Kansas City, Missouri

We are now approaching our tenth year of ministry and while we are still a relatively young ministry, we have been blessed beyond measure to have been able to share our message in song with people all over the United States. We have been nominated for multiple Diamond Awards and have had the privilege of interviewing and performing on live radio and TV stations all over the US. Faithful Crossings has also performed multiple times at the National Quartet Convention, and have had the opportunity to share the stage with many of Gospel Music’s great singers.

The ministry of Faithful Crossings was started by husband and wife team, Tammy and Curtis Sumner back in 2006. After years of individual ministry, they believed that God was calling them to begin a new ministry, together, with their children. Tammy had been a member of the all-female Southern Gospel quartet, Sweetwater Revival and both Tammy and Curtis had been on worship teams for many years but a move from Minnesota to the foothills of east Tennessee gave them a new vision of ministry and that was where Faithful Crossings got its start. They prayed and sought a name that would express the heart of this new ministry and because God had always been faithful to them at each and every crossroads of their lives they chose the name "Faithful Crossings."

In the early days, it was just Tammy, Curtis and their two children, Christian and Lauren. They soon cut their first CD titled "God's Got a Plan" on the Church House Music record label and began to tour locally and in nearby states as well as making their debut at the National Quartet Convention.

"Morehead" is a family name that has been synonymous with a family style of Southern Gospel music for many years. The Moreheads have been singing since 1988. Influenced by some of the great family groups of the 60's, 70's, and 80's such as the Hinson's, Happy Goodman Family, the Greene's, The Nelson's, and the Rambo's. The Moreheads learned that gospel music is more than just a genre or style with the name "Gospel" being in the center. The Moreheads are a ministry, anointed by the Holy Spirit and empowered to share the gospel to the lost, encourage the discouraged, and edify the church. The Moreheads have a few new faces but the calling, the message, and the anointing are still the same. You will laugh and rejoice. You will get excited and celebrate. You will be touched and will worship. You will be ministered to and Christ Jesus will get the glory forever.

Great artists take numerous musical styles and influences, add their own talents and personality, and create a unique sound all their own. Sacred Harmony personifies that. With a sound unlike any other group in Gospel music, the Tennessee-based trio is breaking through barriers with their blended style.

Over the last few years, the trio has been blessed to perform at numerous major events across the nation. In the fall of 2016, Sacred Harmony performed at the American Gospel Celebration hosted by Pastor John Hagee. Because of their crossover appeal, they have even been invited to sing for sold crowds with artists such as Larry Gatlin and TG Sheppard. They have led worship in large contemporary cathedrals and at small country churches. “Our passion is not where we sing but rather who we sing about. Our goal is to impact people wherever God opens the door, to share the love of His son Jesus Christ."
